Microneedling

Microneedling and acupuncture to tighten and firm skin and improve collagen and elastin production.

Microneedling is where science meets skincare. Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure which involves the use of fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production for a smoother, more youthful complexion.

With proper care, the results from 4-6 microneedling sessions, spaced 4-6 weeks apart, can last up to 5 years.

At our clinic, we're dedicated to providing personalized microneedling treatments that leave you feeling rejuvenated and confident in your skin. Our goal is to help you achieve the radiant complexion you deserve.

Acupuncture supports the body's ability to improve production of collagen and elastin to produce younger and youthful skin, with microneedling and acupuncture.

Microneedling With An Acupuncturist

As it important as it is to directly support the collagen and elastin production in the skin, it is equally important to support the body processes that actually make the collagen and elastin.

By receiving acupuncture during your microneedling treatment, we add in the necessary support of targeting specific internal systems, as well as bring calming overall to the body and mind.

Receiving acupuncture during your microneedling session is by no means required. It is an added benefit that we offer, and it is absolutely fine if you would prefer to solely receive microneedling.

  • Generally, microneedling is well-tolerated with minimal discomfort. However, some individuals may experience mild sensations of pricking or tingling during the procedure, which can be alleviated with numbing creams or techniques.

  • Microneedling does not require any downtime.

  • You may begin to notice improvements in skin texture and tone within the first two weeks following microneedling. However, for more lasting results, it's recommended to complete all four sessions, as collagen remodeling continues to enhance skin quality over time.

  • The number of sessions required varies depending on your unique skin needs and goals. However, generally, a series of four to six sessions spaced four to six weeks apart is recommended for best results, followed by occasional maintenance sessions if needed.

  • While microneedling is a safe procedure, some temporary side effects like redness, mild swelling, or slight irritation may occur shortly after. These effects usually fade within a few days, and serious complications are rare.

  • Following the recommended 4-6 sessions, assuming you take care of your skin, the results last up to 5 years!
